Getting Here

The meeting is at the Église Syriaque Catholique Saint Joseph (Saint Joseph Home), Manger Street 450 / Nativity Street 450, Bethlehem. Look for the stairs next to the bakery — the meeting room is up those stairs. Open the location in Google Maps (Plus code P654+PMR Bethlehem).

On foot

  • From Manger Square: about a 10-minute walk (700 m) along Manger Street.
  • From the bus stop: about a 15-minute walk (1 km).
  • From Checkpoint 300: about a 25-minute walk (1.9 km), or a short taxi ride.

By taxi

A taxi from anywhere in Bethlehem generally runs 20–40 shekels, depending on where you start. Most drivers speak English; ask for Manger Street, next to the bakery and Khoury Computers.

In the unlikely case your driver doesn't speak English, show them this:

What to look for

Once you're on Manger Street, here's the walk up to the meeting room. Tap a photo to step through it.

    On Manger Street, just to the left of the bakery, look for the black Caritas Jerusalem sign hanging over the sidewalk. The stairway up to the meeting begins right beside it.

    Climb the stone stairs and keep going all the way to the top — don’t stop at the landings partway up.

    At the top, by the red “Put love into action” Caritas sign, go through the iron gate on your right.

    That brings you into an open stone courtyard. The church with the cross and bell tower is on your right — that is not where we meet.

    Instead, head to the plain glass-and-iron door set in the stone wall. That’s the meeting room — come on in.
